As yellow apricot blossom buds start to bloom on branches with green leaves and rises to catch spring wind, despite busy work in the peak season, Gemadept staffs still spend time for the journey bringing love, smile and practical sharing to the less fortunate, which has become a tradition preserved and promoted by Gemadept.
Passing a long way of about 200km to Binh Duc Social Center, Duc Hanh Commune, Bu Gia Map District, Binh Phuoc Province on a day near Tet (February 1st, 2018), Gemadept’s charity delegation members seem to lose all tiredness when being greeted by managers and many patients, trainees at the center with dear and warm feelings.
This is the third time Gemadept has come back to Binh Duc Center with the desire to have practical contributions to the center as well as to ease the unhappiness and suffering of people here. This year, number of patients, trainees at the center has increased and its far-off location is in fact an obstacle for charity delegations to visit. The material and spiritual life at the center is still limited.
Lunch and New Year gifts were handed to over 500 psychiatric patients and trainees, which were received with joy and smiles. Although the material value of the gifts is finite, the spiritual value is far more appreciated and infinite. Laughter, applause and wishes for the new year have turned the center into a home filled with love for everyone.
Spring will be more vibrant and life will be even more beautiful when love is shared. With the spirit of responsibility, sharing burdens of the community and society, Gemadept will continue to extend the journeys of love and faith in goodness.
