Following the seaport security plan of GMD Dung Quat Port that was approved by the Vietnam Maritime Administration on January 10, 2022. The objectives of the drill are to: Increase employee awareness and responsibility; Evaluate the firefighting and rescue capabilities of on-site firefighting forces and vehicles; Increase awareness; Assess combat capabilities; Coordinate command and direction; Ensure information, communication, and logistics;
Attending the rehearsal were representatives of agencies and departments: Provincial Police, Dung Quat Port Border Gate Border Guard Station, Quang Ngai Maritime Port Authority, Dung Quat Port Border Gate Customs Branch, Binh Commune Police Thuan
The exercise took place successfully and the delegates highly appreciated for the professionalism with which it was organized the initiative shown by the forces present, and the seamless coordination amongst all involved parties. While the process of creating to seaport security incidents.
